Building the repair and closing the record are two different jobs. A building can have the first without the second and still be carrying the condition on paper.
What the condition was, what was done about it and where. This is the file the building keeps, and the one that answers the question when the next cycle or the next owner asks it.
The condition behind the violation actually corrected, which is the part that cannot be shortcut.
The correction submitted to the relevant agency in the form it requires.
Removal or dismissal is granted by the agency, subject to its review. We prepare and submit; we do not decide the outcome, and nobody can promise one.
Where an agency comes back with a question, it is answered and resubmitted.
Where the permit or the cycle requires one, arranged with the access still in place.
Granted by the agency where the filing and the work satisfy it.
The shed and scaffold come down once the condition is corrected, not a season later.
The record of the work, and a maintenance plan for the building if it is wanted.
A corrected condition, a documented file, the protection off the sidewalk and a building that re enters its cycle compliant rather than carrying something forward.
No, and neither can anyone else. Removal is granted by the agency on its review. What can be done is to correct the underlying condition properly and submit it in the form the agency requires.
It depends on the agency, the filing and what the review raises. The part within our control is that the work is complete and the submission is right the first time.
